1. Purpose of the Application

The LeelaClue application is intended for entertainment, personal reflection, and inspiration. All card spreads, generated questions, and guidance texts are produced automatically using random selection and generative artificial intelligence. They do not constitute scientifically grounded predictions, professional advice, or established facts.

2. Not Professional Advice or Diagnosis

The materials provided by the application do not replace professional advice or treatment.

• Not Medical or Psychological Advice: The application does not provide diagnoses, treatment, or therapeutic services. If you have health or psychological concerns, please consult qualified professionals.
• Reflection Tool Only: LeelaClue is a self-reflection tool, not a divination service, oracle, or coaching platform.

3. Clues — Virtual Currency Model

LeelaClue operates on a virtual-currency model. Most features are free; AI-assisted features ("Leela Guru") are unlocked using Clues, an in-app virtual currency.

• Free Access: Drawing cards, recording reflections, daily wisdom rituals, the Leela Field view, and reading past spreads are always free.
• Welcome Gift: New users receive a one-time welcome gift of Clues on first launch.
• Paid Features: Asking the Leela Guru to refine your intent, personalize your guidance questions, generate practice suggestions, or summarize a spread requires Clues.

Acquiring Clues

Clues are sold as one-time consumable in-app purchases on the Dakshina screen. The pricing tiers shown in the app are the authoritative source.

Note on pricing: Prices are displayed in the local currency of your App Store / Google Play account. The exact amount charged may vary slightly depending on regional tax rules and platform-specific exchange rates set by Apple and Google.

Refunds

Clues are a non-transferable, non-refundable virtual licence with no cash value. Once acquired, Clues are not refundable by LeelaClue. Refunds, where applicable, are governed exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play policies and must be requested directly from Apple or Google.

Protecting Clues with Your Apple or Google Account

You can optionally sign in with your Apple or Google account on the Dakshina screen to protect purchased Clues. Sign-in is never required to use the application.

• One balance per account: Purchased Clues are linked to the signed-in Apple or Google account. Each account holds exactly one Clues balance, shared by all devices signed in with that account.
• Restore on a new device: Signing in with the same account on a new device or after a reinstall restores the purchased balance to that device.
• Welcome-gift Clues do not transfer: The one-time welcome gift is tied to the installation on which it was granted. Gift Clues are not restored on other devices or merged across accounts; this is an abuse-prevention measure.
• Switching accounts: Signing in with a different account on a device switches the device to that account's balance. The previous balance is not lost — it remains with the previous account and becomes available again when you sign in with it.

Loss of Clues

Without sign-in, the Clues balance is tied to an anonymous UUID stored on your device. If you uninstall the application, reset your device, clear app data, or change devices without restoring your data, the Clues balance associated with that UUID may become permanently inaccessible. Purchased Clues can only be recovered if you signed in with your Apple or Google account before losing access; welcome-gift Clues cannot be recovered in any case.

No Guarantee on Pricing or Availability

We may change Clue prices, package contents, or the AI features Clues unlock, without prior notice. Existing balances remain spendable on whichever features are then available.

4. Platform Conditions

Purchases of Clues are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android). Billing, taxes, family-sharing, and parental-control rules are governed by Apple or Google, not by LeelaClue.

Your use of the application is additionally governed by:

• On iOS — Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
• On Android — the Google Play Terms of Service: https://play.google.com/intl/en_us/about/play-terms/index.html

If a platform's terms conflict with these Terms of Use on platform-specific points, the platform terms prevail.

5. Acceptable Use & AI Content

You agree to use the application only for its intended purpose. You will not:

• automate, script, or otherwise abuse the AI endpoints (Leela Guru)
• attempt to bypass the Clues balance ledger or any other entitlement mechanism
• abuse the account-linking or welcome-gift mechanisms, e.g. by repeated installations, multiple accounts, or device manipulation intended to accumulate gift Clues
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the application's protective mechanisms
• use the application in any manner that contradicts its entertainment and self-reflection purpose

AI-generated content (intent refinement, personalized questions, practice suggestions, summaries) may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You accept full responsibility for any actions or decisions you take in response to AI output, and agree that LeelaClue is not liable for those actions or decisions.

6. User Responsibility

The interpretation of all cards, generated content, and reflection prompts, and the use of the application, are at your own responsibility. The developer is not liable for actions, decisions, or conclusions made by users based on the content displayed in the app.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability for damages arising from the use or non-use of the application is excluded. This includes:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, property damage, or loss of data
• Damages due to technical failures, server outages, or AI processing errors
• Damages due to loss of Clues caused by uninstallation or device change

Liability for damages to life, body, or health, and damages caused by intent or gross negligence, remains unlimited. Otherwise, statutory limitations apply.

8. No Guarantee of Availability

Continuous and uninterrupted operation of the application, the Cloud Functions backend, or AI services is not guaranteed. Updates, technical failures, server-region outages, or third-party service interruptions (Firebase, Google Gemini, RevenueCat) may temporarily disrupt functionality.

9. Scope & Changes

This document applies to all forms of use of the LeelaClue application, including free and paid features. We may update these Terms from time to time; any changes will be visible in the application with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the application after such an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
